Online poker has become world acclaimed lately, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years several types on the earliest poker game have been created, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling chemin de fer than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the house instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no bluffing or different types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the dealer saying "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other players acquire 5 cards each. After you have observed your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you have to either make a call wager or bow out. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your original bet, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your ante goes instantaneously to the bank. After the wager is the conclusion. If the house does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, including a sum equal to the ante. If the bank does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand defeats the dealer’s hand. The house pays money equal to your original bet and controlled expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
