Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the west in a great game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the house, not like most other poker games that gamblers compete with other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, new players don’t have to worry about other, more skillful players winning their mulla.

A further Pai Gow benefit is the fairly slow game play, newcomers can take their time and plan while not needing to make quick choices.

It is also simpler to play for a very long time with basically a tiny amount of money after all, to lose, both of your hands must be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The player is assigned seven cards faces showing and the dealer is dealt 7 cards face down.

A five card hand and one two card hand must be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the dealer’s.
