Online poker has become world famous as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years many types on the original poker game have been developed, including some games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with 21 than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the house instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no conniving or different types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the croupier declares "No further wagers." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different gamblers attain five cards. Once you have observed your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you have to either make a call wager or bow out. The call bet’s amount is akin to your original ante, which means that the stakes will have doubled. Abandoning means that your wager goes instantaneously to the house. After the bet comes the face off. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, plus a figure on par with the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The bank pony’s up money equal to your wager and fixed expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
