Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the wild west in a wonderful game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the dealer, unlike almost all other poker games that gamblers bet with other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, new players don’t have to worry about other, more experienced individuals winning their mulla.

Another Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game pace, newcomers should be able to take their time and strategize without needing to make frenzied selections.

It’s also easier to participate in for a very long time with only a tiny amount of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands must be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards faces showing and the casino is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.

One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand have to be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the casino’s.
