Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the east with the wild west in an excellent game for new gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the casino, unlike most other poker games that players play against other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, beginning players don’t need to be concerned about any other, more knowledgeable players taking their money.
An additional Pai Gow advantage is the fairly slow game play, beginners can take their time and scheme while not having to make frenzied selections.
It is also much simpler to participate in for a long time with only a tiny amount of cash after all, to not win, each of your hands needs to be lower than both of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is dealt 7 cards face up and the house is given seven cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and a two card hand have to be made from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the casino’s.
